A fake account can change email. It can rotate IP. It can clear cookies
But it still leaves patterns.
Fake accounts are the starting point for fake reviews, fake jobs, scam messages, and review score manipulation. So the real question for recruitment platforms is not “is this email new.”
It is: have we seen this device, behavior, environment, or account cluster before.
CrossClassify uses device fingerprinting, behavioral biometrics, and link analysis to detect fake accounts even when attackers try to appear new.
For Glassdoor style platforms, this can protect review integrity and candidate safety at the same time.
