The reward claim is not the end of bonus abuse
Sometimes it is the start.
A user signs up.
Claims the bonus.
Looks normal enough.
The reward is approved.
Then the real pattern appears.
Fast redemption.
Immediate withdrawal.
Refund request.
Profile change.
New referral activity.
Account abandonment.
Another account using similar signals.
Many teams monitor the journey before reward approval, then stop too early.
That creates a blind spot.
Bonus abuse often becomes clearer after the claim because that is when user intent shows up.
Did the user continue like a real customer?
Or did they extract value and disappear?
